Enable Cracked/Offline Players to Join Your Server

A complete guide to allow cracked (non-premium/offline) Minecraft players such as TLauncher users to join your server.

Security Warning

Enabling offline mode will disable Mojang authentication. This means anyone can join with any username, including the server owner's username. Make sure to use an authentication plugin such as AuthMe or Login Security.

online-mode: false
04

Restart Server

Go back to Console and click Restart to apply the changes. Your server will restart and cracked players can now join!

What is online-mode?

online-mode is a setting that determines whether the server will verify players through Mojang's authentication servers. If set to true, only players with premium Minecraft accounts can join. If false, all players can join without verification.

Recommended Plugins

For server security in offline mode, we strongly recommend installing an authentication plugin:

AuthMe Reloaded

The most popular authentication plugin. Players must register and login before they can play.
